A Welsh poet from the Rhondda Valleys, Philip John graduated from the University of South Wales in 2014 before moving across the border to Bristol to work within government procurement alongside serving ex-military personnel. After securing a publishing deal with Wordcatcher Publishing, his first book of poetry, Home Truths, was published in November 2018. He released a second volume, Searching for Seahorses, in February 2020.
Exploring the human condition, human history, nature, and, more specifically, our treatment of the planet, Philip has performed readings of his poetry several times on BBC Radio. You can find his work on Amazon, Wordcatcher Publishing, and all other good booksellers in paperback and eBook.
Philip is currently working on a third collection of poetry exploring the essence of youth and innocence from a range of perspectives. He is also writing a memoir-style novella. To find out more, you can connect with Philip on his Facebook and Instagram pages by searching for @philipjohnpoetry.
